Just a quick note to say how I love reading your messages!
You have such an unusual moniker that Google sniffed you out all over the net!
It sounds like you have a very coherent plan for maintaining your health.
I am interested in your attitude towards neuroleptics, their use, safety, efficacy, etc.
You wrote that when you tried a withdrawal, you became ill very quickly. I wonder if you have read much by Dr Peter Breggin. Breggin is a long-standing critic of clinical psychiatry. He describes how a rebound psychosis effect is commonplace when withdrawing too rapidly.
Breggin recommends a *maximum* 10% taper ever few weeks or even every few months. If you've been on drugs for many years, it could take several more years to get off them using a taper plan.
I am currently following the blog of "Gianna Kali", a lovely young woman in the States who has decided after 20 years of playing the medical model, that enough is enough.
She's *slowly* withdrawing from the countless drugs she has been prescribed over the years.
She is following an orthomolecular programme and is doing very well, and going from strength to strength!
I am hoping to do something like that myself. Maybe it would suit you too?
Kind Regards,
Billie
